Stamford is a market town at the southern tip of Lincolnshire. It has a very long history and a fine architectural heritage. Its pleasant way of life attracts both the day visitor and many new residents to the area.
Vence is five miles north of Nice with the nearest coast being at Cagnes sur Mer. It is a cultural and artistic centre with a winter population of 15,000 which rises to 40,000 in summer. It was the seat of artists Matisse and Chagal. The inner town is walled and medieval with fine views of the mountains and the Mediterranean coast.
Kutna Hora lies about 60 Kilometer to the East of Prague. It is a town on the UNESCO world heritage list.
