Spilsby and District is twinned with Fresnay-Sur-Sarthe in France

The twinning charter was signed in October 1988 at Spilsby and in May 1989 at Fresnay.

Fresnay Sur Sarthe, situated 40 Km to the North west of Le Mans is a very picturesque stone built town of some 3,500 inhabitants.
