The Ludford Voue Twinning Association signed its charter with Voue in 1992, and ratified it in Ludford in October 1993

Voue in the region Champagne-Ardenne France is a very similar village to Ludford in environment, employment and size ( it was discovered that in the 1991 census, the population of both villages was 385).
The nearest market town is Arcis-sur-Aube which has a suger factory as one of its main sources of employment. Troyes a small and historic city, is about the same distance from Voue as Lincoln is from Ludford.
In both villages, there is a small core of people who are enthusiastic about twinning and a larger circle which participates in the exchanges.
